Healthy Drugs

Today's society wants us to consume. Consume, consume, consume. And of course, the worst thing for a consuming society is when you die. Your death is a sad thing, of course, but who will consume instead of you? That's why today's society keeps on feeding you with the healthy-life-style almost-propaganda. It's in every foreign-language text book - English, French, Spanish, ... - healthy food, healthy diet, healthy air, healthy this, healthy that; healthy lifestyle. The goal of the society is to keep you alive as long as it can in order to keep you consuming.

But it wants you to keep living the hectic way through the life - birth : marriage : children : death (keeping the first and last one as far as you can from each other). And, of course, in between, produce a lot of stuff others can consume and consume so much stuff no one can produce it (and mainly do nothing else, not mentioning you could do some thinking)... For me, just adding a few pseudohealthy activities is not a way to achieve the "healthy lifestyle". For me, healthy lifestyle is moving back in time (mentally), slowing down the pace and taking a deep breath just for the heck of it.

Simply said - I don't want to live to survive. I want to live to feel, to understand, to take a nice slow rollercoaster, to find things I would literally die for. For me life is about finding and discovering, saying and expressing - whatever it may take. Some people may say 40 is a low age to die at - but if those 40 years have been fulfilling and weren't spent just watching TV with popcorn in your hand, I say it's better than dying at 80, knowing you have wasted your life, doing exactly the same things everyone else does.

I live to be.
